What a Difference the Light Makes

In recent days, we've enjoyed a welcome burst of early morning spring sunshine. After enduring weeks of dreary, overcast mornings, with very poor light, this has been a pleasant change for morning photography.

During a recent morning walk with my camera, I spent 30 minutes taking photos where the light played a crucial role.

These images were all taken within a short radius of my home but they prove to me that good light is an essential ingredient in photography and it can elevate a mundane image to something a little more special.

I aim to make the most of more mornings with good light as the year progresses.
